Location: Commutable within and around Ipswich
Business area: Utilities - Anglian Water Framework
Working in alliance with one of the leader water utility companies in the UK, this is an exciting opportunity for a customer-centric Operative within Kier Utilities, working on the Anglian Water Repair and Maintenance Framework.
No day will be the same in this crucial role where most of your time will be spent site based and you will be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring tasks. This role will report to the delivery manager and will require the effective utilisation of time and resources to meet delivery programmes.
You will be responsible for your own safety in the role and carry out general duties such as deliveries to site, collecting barriers, assisting team the Team Leader with and any extra construction duties on site.
You will need to ensure the correct usage of vehicles and other plant keeping waste to a minimum. Attention to detail and strong communication will be key.
To be successful in this role you will need a UK driving Licence, NRWSA Operative Card and First Aid and Manual Handling would be beneficial.
