Kier Highways now have an exciting opportunity for a Bid Manager to join our Strategic Work Winning Team. We are looking for somebody to assemble a bid team with the relevant knowledge and skills to prepare a winning bid. With your proven bid management experience, you'll develop and own the bid programme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the selection questionnaire process
  • Chair bid 'kick off' meetings, solution development and mid bid meetings
  • Manage virtual bid teams and inputs from a variety of stakeholders, ensuring they are fully briefed and understanding the client bid requirements/key deliverables
  • Develop a win plan for each opportunity
  • Manage the clarification and amendment process with the client
  • Support teams to prepare for client meetings and interviews including presentations and briefings
  • Support the development and completion of the written responses (quality submission) to a high standard
  • Liaise with commercial/estimating team to ensure Kier sign off of bids in line with Delegated Authorities
  • Lead on handover to mobilisation and operational teams for winning bids.
