Breedon is a leading construction materials group in the UK and Ireland. We operate two cement plants, around 80 quarries, 40 asphalt plants, 170 ready-mixed concrete and mortar plants, nine concrete and clay products plants, four contract surfacing businesses, six import/export terminals and two slate production facilities.

Breedon Southern Ltd are currently recruiting a Transport Administrator to join our small, friendly Logistics team based at our Head Office in Breedon on the Hill, East Midlands.

Reporting to the Administration Manager - Logistics, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining Breedon Groups transport fleet, ensuring that all records and systems are maintained, ensuring we are compliant and working to the correct standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration of MOT's, RFL, TACHO, AA Account, fuel cards and driver cards and the maintenance of this information within the fleet management system.
  • New starter mandate administration, updating daily checks within the fleet management systems, issuing reminders to drivers in relation to driver licence expiry, producing monthly reports and ensuring compliance.
  • Administration of parking and speeding fines, ensuring these are sent to the driver/transport manager in a timely manner and are paid.
  • M6 Toll, Humber Bridge and Merseyflow account management.
  • Ordering and monitoring of PPE
  • Contract management, receipt, scanning and filing
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required

As a Transport Administrator you will need an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and knowledge of fleet management processes and systems, previous experience in an administration role is essential. You will be trustworthy, efficient and hardworking with the ability to prioritise your workload, have excellent communication skills and be able to work well within a team. A full UK driving licence is essential as you will be required to drive company cars as part of your role.
