My client is a specialist engineering firm providing engineering resource to the Power Industry, in particular renewable energy. Due to continued a specialist installation on site now hitting its peak, this client requires 2 x mechanical fitters for a project in North Wales - This long-term contract will include a lot of hours and fantastic earning potential for a skilled mechanical fitter from the power generation sector.

The Role of Mechanical Fitter
Installation of mechanical pumping equipment Installation of large turbines Keep records and reports of maintenance activities Perform fault diagnosis on plant and equipment Liaise with other teams in production performance issues Maintaining heavy mechanical plant Pressure and hydraulic systems Working to safety procedures and practices operating workshop machines Using various welding techniquesThe Right Mechanical Fitter
Essential
Completed a recognized apprenticeship City & Guilds Part III, NVQ level 3 and Key Skills or equivalent IOSH Working Safely Certificate or equivalent CCNSG Hydraulic Plant Experience Pneumatic and Pressure SystemsDesirable
BTEC National Certificate in an engineering MEWP Driving Certificate IPAF Certificate
