Protocol are working with a fantastic East Midlands based college to recruit an Electrical Installation IQA starting as soon as possible. As one of the largest further education providers in the country, this college offers a huge range of vocational and academic courses, helping their students find routes into higher education or their dream career. This education powerhouse is looking to bolster its Electrical Team by onboarding an Electrical Installation IQA to assist with processes for the college's current caseload.

Although times may seem uncertain at present it certainly isn't for this college and their recruitment for this position. We are keen to hear from candidates who available for when face-to-face teaching ensues with the added possibility of remote-teaching in the interim. The successful candidates therefore must be well-versed in online teaching platforms or possess a willingness to learn. We can support with understanding of online teaching platforms.

Role responsibilities
Supporting the department when necessary
Adhere to all college policies including Safeguarding and Equality and Diversity
Motivating students to excel in their subject area
The person & qualifications
Hold an IQA qualification
Knowledge of City & Guilds 5357 and 2357
Hold a minimum level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or related subject
18th edition
Strong knowledge of IQA standardisation and processes
Must be enthusiastic and inspiring to learners
Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or within 12 months (or be willing to apply for one)
