Position: Financial Controller

Location: Dublin

Salary: Negotiable DOE

The Job:

An Established Buildings Products Group are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee all aspects of their finance operations. Based at their Head Office, the successful applicant will be joining a friendly and professional team. The Financial Controller will be responsible for the Finance operations of the business reporting to the Managing Director.

Financial Controller Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports, ensuring the accuracy of information.

  • Prepare monthly cash flow forecast.

  • Financial reports and Project Management

  • Manage annual audit of accounts for the group, liaise with external auditors.

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of various accounting records and financial systems are in place.

  • Manage existing finance.

  • Asset reporting/register and depreciation.

  • Effectively managing cash and treasury function, preparing monthly cash flow analysis.

  • Liaising with auditors.

  • Review costings and analysis of various cost centres across the business to ensure the most cost-effective processes are in place.

  • Prepare budgets and ongoing monitoring of same during projects.

  • Prepare annual budget for the Group including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cashflow.

Financial Controller Requirements:

  • Financial Professional working in a similar role as Financial Controller/Head of Finance/Senior Accountant within a Construction/Building Products environment for at least 2- 5 years, Ideally within the Construction Sector.

    • Must be a Qualified Accountant

    • Experience working with a finance team. Finance

    • Professional working in a similar role as Financial Controller/Head of Finance/Senior Accountant within a Construction /Building products environment for at least 3- 5 years.

    • Must be a qualified Accountant
