Protocol are delighted to be recruiting for a with a well-known university within the London borough who are currently looking to expand their IT service management team with both Senior and Junior positions.
Job Title: Senior IT Service Analyst/
Hours: Full Time FTE 1.0
Salary: £30,000-£40,000 dependent on experience

Roles and Responsibilities:
*They must be able to maintain a high level of customer service when communicating with members of the public by being the 1st and 2nd port of call when technical issues arise.
*Must be capable of managing the service desks workload and being able to allow for training and continued professional development. This must also adhere with workforce welfare and quality assurance.
*Be able to advise users on best practice for all software and IT solutions and ensure all issues are correctly identified diagnosed and maintained through the current systems in place and be able to communicate this all effectively
*Must be able to maintain the current operating systems physically and digitally and support the staff in displaying this when required

Specific Responsibilities for the Senior Service Desk Analyst:
*Must be able to actively identify and use new procedures when required across the department and be pro-active with this.
*Must ensure that all procedures involved with incident reports and service requests are monitored and reviewed when necessary with problem analysis.
*Will lead in analyzing service changes and continued services within the department and facilitate best practice.
*Provide detailed service level reports on a regular basis around the IT service performance levels as a department and analyze this and aim for constant improvements.
*Must act as a mentor for staff members within the department and be able to advise and support them in their role.
*Identify, recommend, develop, and implement end user training programs to increase computer literacy and self-sufficiency.



The Person and Qualifications:
*Possession of a Degree in a relevant field with practical industry experience.
*Previous experience with the service systems.
*Previous service management experience will be beneficial.
