We have recently secured a new role with a rapidly growing independent lift engineering organisation for a highly competent Lift Service & Repair Engineer. The requirement is to manage a new service contract of 80 lifts. You will have the technical understanding for more in depth diagnostics for repairs and then continue to manage this site for regular periodic services. Over a short period of time your route will get easier as you get on top of the service route. You will be used to travelling as part of your job and happy travelling from Yorkshire, West Midlands, East Midlands/ Lincolnshire and up to North East. If you are a skilled Lift Engineer that specialises in service and repairs and you are living a commutable distance from anywhere central UK and up to Northumberland and you are looking for a varied role with its challenges to get on top of a service route which will include in-depth fault finding, servicing, repairs both minor and major then this opportunity is for you! NVQ 3 Qualified - Service & Repair
Technically minded - Electrical and Mechanical Engineering fault finding
Flexible travelling to cover service requirements across the country
5 years experience servicing and repairing passenger lifts, platform lifts, goods lifts, access, dumbwaiters - Minimum Expectation
Confident repairing a range of manufacturers for passenger and goods lifts - Essential
Full UK Driving License - Essential
Experience in Fault Finding can read electrical lift diagrams - Essential
Electrical wiring within the lift industry - Essential
17th/18th Edition Qualification - Desirable

Lift servicing of passenger, goods lifts, access, dumbwaiters
Offering technical guidance to Lift Engineers on site and over the phone
Site surveys - Provide accurate lift information to best inform management decisions
Complete technical repairs on a variety of lifts
Execute in-depth fault finding to diagnose problematic lifts - servicing skills
