Protocol are recruiting for Work Based Learning Coaches work for potential upcoming positions on the Health, Wellbeing and Life Sciences degree apprenticeship standards due to start in September this year.

You will work within the Work Based Learning Team to support the quality and expansion of the University's portfolio of Higher and Degree Apprenticeships. To support those objectives you will use specialist knowledge and/or experience to work collaboratively and substantially with at least one specific area of delivery.
You will liaise closely with the course teaching teams to ensure your employer liaison activities are aligned to needs of the specific apprentice and their employer. You will develop your strong knowledge of how each Apprenticeship programme is delivered against the requirements of the Apprenticeship Standard and the relevant End Point Assessment.

*Degree or equivalent experience
*Significant knowledge and experience in cardiovascular, respiratory or sleep sciences
*Recent occupational experience

*Coaching and mentoring experience
*An understanding of the external context for apprenticeship in higher or further education and the potential impact within institutions
*Flexibility to travel between campus and employer site
