THE ROLE OF MECHANICAL FITTER
-
Collect drawings
Use of hand tools
Creating sub assemblies
Reading 2D and 3D drawings
Use of threading machines
Completing build before inspection
Use of air tools
Working as part of a team
Working in production environment
Occasional on site works
THE RIGHT MECHANICAL FITTER
-
Mechanical experience
Happy to work in the workshop
Occasional onsite carrying out small installation jobs, service work etc
Have a full and valid driving license
Must be able to work in a group with others but also be confident to work alone on site when required
Own tools required
Pipe work in copper, steel and plastic
Experience of pumping equipment
Used threading machines before
Pipe threading experience
Mechanically minded
C&G in engineering an advantage
Ready to start now
