Last year over 800 students from the A-Level and Vocational Courses went on to study at top universities.

Our client currently has an exciting opportunity to join them on a temporary basis as an A-Level Sociology Lecturer starting on the 7th of September. The role will be held by a developing academic who combines research with learning
and teaching, research and knowledge exchange, together with a broad contribution to the department.

Role responsibilities
Planning and delivering A-level Sociology,delivering effective learning for students
Teaching 20-25 hours per week
Value and support students to achieve their full potential and effectively manage the behavior of students
Take responsibility as required for the development of a relevant curriculum area
Motivating students to excel in their subject area
The person & qualifications
You must have a recognised teaching qualification
Recent experience of teaching A-Level Sociology, and proven ability to deliver History or Politics
Must be enthusiastic and inspiring to learners
Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or within 12 months (or be willing to apply for one)
