Protocol are looking for a Carpentry Lecturer based at a Guildford client to work with young apprentices as they prepare to take their first steps into their new careers. The ideal candidate will have industry experience and a genuine interest in working with and developing young professionals. Experience in a teaching role would be highly beneficial.

We are looking for people with an authentic enthusiasm for this area who can bring a passion to the workshops so that the clients students can receive an enjoyable and fulfilling experience.

Their students are eager to learn and the client would like to appoint someone who can provide them with a high level of knowledge that they can utilise in their careers.

We are not just looking for good teachers, but for good people who can act as role models to students and ensure that they leave us with both their desired professional qualifications as well as developing their individual potential as people.

* Delivering Carpentry at levels 1 - 3 for 24 hours per week.
* Motivating students to excel within their subject areas and qualifications
* Adhering to all college policies particularly where Safeguarding, Equality & Diversity and Prevent are concerned.

* Will have a recognised teaching qualification, although it is not essential
* Experience delivering Carpentry at levels 1-3 within an FE College setting
* An assessors qualification is also desirable, but not essential
* A DBS on the update service OR applied for OR dated in the previous 12 months through Protocol with no employment gaps larger than 3 months.
