Protocol are delighted to invite an enthusiastic lecturer to join a college setting based in Merseyside.

The college are looking for an experienced plumbing tutor and assessor to deliver educational and informative sessions to students, with the aim to increase employability and give them the skills necessary to secure industry work placements on completion of the course. The college has a well established reputation for high standards, excellent facilities and outstanding support for students and staff.

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about the plumbing industry and have the drive and motivation to help learners to progress in their careers, increase their employability and support their personal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background within the plumbing industry, experience of teaching, and have strong organisational and communication skills in order to inspire and educate learners.

The role would be 2 days lecturing and 3 days assessing on the apprenticeship programmes to level 3 starting as soon as possible.

(Some potential gas delivering/assessing may also be required)

Role responsibilities
Delivering and assessing to learners up to level 3 on the apprenticeship programmes
The person & qualifications
Experience of delivering and assessing plumbing from levels 1-3
Hold an assessors qualification or equivalent
Level 3 in plumbing or equivalent
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in order to deliver individual and team objectives
