We are seeking a GCSE English Lecturer to deliver lessons for one afternoon per week ongoing for the Academic Year. An excellent opportunity for a part-time Lecturer seeking an ongoing post until June 2021.
Duties
Delivering excellent teaching practice across the GCSE curriculum
Completing SOWs and Lesson plans when necessary
Supporting the department when necessary
Adhere to all college policies including Safeguarding and Equality and Diversity
Motivating students to excel in their subject area
Supporting students both pastorally and academically
Recording student progress when applicable
The person & qualifications
Hold a minimum level 3 qualification in English or a related subject
High levels of student engagement
Hold a teaching qualification (desirable)
Previous teaching experience within GCSE English
