About the role
You will be responsible for writing PLC & HMI software and undertaking SCADA page configurations for allocated projects. This role will see you develop Functional Design Specification & Control Philosophies when required, contributing to training materials in accordance with client and Kier standards, completing multiple concurrent projects and attending and undertaking factory & site testing providing commission assistance and client training.
What do we need from you?
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who holds experience of programming a variety of PLC platforms utilising IEC 61131-3 programme languages and programming HMI's and configuring SCADA pages, experience in prosses control & automation systems. You will hold an industry applicable ONC/HNC/B.Eng or NVQ equivalent, have sound commercial and contractual awareness, as well as inclusion on clients approved software lists where applicable.
