Dutton Recruitment are looking for a Major Project Supervisor for Highways work, based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
The post holder will act as NEC Engineering and Construction Contract Supervisor for a highway scheme valued at £40m that includes new and amended pavements, highway structures, earthworks, drainage, lighting and street furniture. The postholder will have extensive experience of major highway site works in the role of Supervisor and experience of the above conditions of contract including risk management, quality, safety and contract administration in order to assist the scheme's Project Manager. The post may involve supervising other staff that form the authorities site supervision team and will involve liaison with authorities' officers, outside bodies and stakeholders. The Parkway widening scheme is a design and build contract.
Qualifications Required: Diploma/NVQ/Degree civil engineering.
Project Management experience: inc. APM PMQ or PPQ , Prince2 Practitioner NEC3 Professional Accreditation.
Memberships: Membership of ICE, IHE, CIHT, TPS (desirable).
