Reporting to the Finance Controller, as Finance Manager you will be responsible for delivering all internal reporting for the Kier Utilities & Rail business stream. This includes quarterly and annual forecasting, working capital management, Tax review, stat accounts and process improvements.

Your key responsibilities will be weekly cash management, long term forecasting of cashflow and balance sheet, driving the monthly group management accounting consolidation and reporting, along with quarterly P&L forecasting and consolidation. You will also be developing and refining consistent reporting processes, reviewing bank, receivable and payables reconciliations and play a key role in moving Kier Utilities & Rail from two to one core ERP systems. You will be a key member of the team providing support to the wider business facing finance team as well as having management responsibility of members of the team.

What do we need from you?

You will need to hold experience within a similar role with an Accounting qualification (CIMA/ ACCA) with practical understanding and experience of key finance processes and practices such as tax returns, producing statutory accounts and reporting.
