We're a crucial part of Kier Specialist Services, providing hard and soft facilities management to hundreds of Government department sites and public buildings - offering you a role that will challenge and reward you, every single day.
Kier Specialist Services are looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer for our Sussex Police Facilities Management contract, covering the East Sussex area. The successful post-holder will be responsible for providing electrical installations, repairs, maintenance and assistance on all associated electrical equipment to a range of customers and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Commitment to customer care, working collaboratively with colleagues, clients & customers is at the heart of what we do every day. We'll look to you to carry out minor/major installation projects and reactive callouts on all associated electrical equipment, general fault finding and repairs to electrical assets and services. You will also be required to maintain up to date records of all work carried out on plant and equipment within the site manuals both hard copy files and electronic.
What do we need from you?
Have you got what it takes to join the Kier team looking after the Sussex Police sites? You should ideally hold relevant industry qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2330/2356/2357/2382/ 2391/ AM1 and AM2), BS7671 Wiring Regs 17/18th edition, BS2391 Initial and Periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations, hold a CSCS Card, have Working at height/IPAF/PASMA certification, have PAT Testing experience, and have previous experience in a similar role within Building Services or Facilities Management.
Due to the nature of this role, you will need to hold of a Full UK Drivers Licence, and be able to participate within an out of normal working hours emergency call out rota and be flexible outside of core working hours.
