I am looking for several Covid Test Centre Operatives to start work in the Durham area, date to be confirmed, for the local authority. Work is across multiple different static sites on mass testing centres.
My client is looking for staff to work on a temporary basis to assist with the administration of lateral flow/COVID-19 tests within schools and the community. You would be called upon to work as and when required. Full risk assessments will be in place. Full training and PPE will be given. Training time will be paid, even if you are not called upon to work. This role is to support the delivery of services at various Testing Sites across County Durham. We have a particular need for staff in the Peterlee and Newton Aycliffe areas. It requires excellent communication skills and empathy. COVID-19 testing will take place in line with CQC guidance and everyone on site will be offered a test.
This will be a full-time position, approximately 37 hours and chosen candidates should be willing to work any 5 of the 7 days (including potential evening and weekend work. Work provisionally until March, possibly longer at £10.01 p/h.
