LOCATION: Chard
JOB DESCRIPTION: GatePerson required in Chard. Our client is looking for an experienced and hardworking GatePerson. The site is within the town and is accessible by public transport, though does also have parking if required. The contract is on a temporary basis, with potential for on going work; working hours being 8am-6pm, Monday-Friday, with the option to work overtime at the weekends.
As the first point of contact for site workers, visitors and deliveries you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the gate/ entrance to site is manned at all times
- Signing in and out site operatives and visitors
- Signing in deliveries and laising with the site team on drop off points and time
- General labouring and welfare duties may be required in quiet periods
- Any other works as directed by the site team
Key Skills & Qualifications
- A valid CSCS card
- A valid Traffic Marshall ticket would be advantageous
- The ability to perform physical manual labour
- Own PPE - High vis vest, safety glasses, gloves, dust mask and hard hat can be provided by Daniel Owen
- Own tools NOT required
