Kier Housing Maintenance (HM) have long standing partnership agreements with housing associations, local authorities and private landlords to conduct responsive repairs and planned maintenance across various sites. Kier Housing Maintenance East are now recruiting for a Contract Manager to join us on our Muir Housing partnership, to execute the contracts we've been assigned professionally and in accordance with the agreed specification and requirements in the most cost-effective manner whilst complying with all current legislation/engineering standards and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will ensure at all times that the likelihood of repeat business from the client is maximised and client satisfaction/contract compliance is maintained. Kier has a fantastic Health and Safety record and this role will make sure these responsibilities are maintained and in keeping with Kier Group Safety, Health and Environment Management System ('KGSHEMS') requirements.
You will take the lead in decision making in order to effectively supervise, plan, organise and deploy employees (direct and indirect) on work streams including projects, programmed repairs, maintenance, adaptations, FRA and void properties in line with client expectations and to the best possible standards.
This is a large regional role and therefore regular travel all over the regions covered will be required, with Cambridgeshire having majority of the focus, and will require some travel to Leicestershire, Northamptonshire & Norfolk.
What do we need from you?
You will need to have previous experience within a similar Contract Manager role, ideally within a Social Housing Repairs & Maintenance environment. Alongside relevant H&S qualifications (SMSTS/IOSH), you should have strong track record in customer focused service delivery.
It would be highly desirable if you have a background in Gas or Electrical Engineering relating to Property Maintenance, as well as some background with Compliance.
