Kier Places are recruiting now for a Contract Manager to join our Facilities Management team looking after the Farnham Local Care Centre and Bournemouth library, on a PFI Hard & Soft services contract.


Key Responsibilities

As an integral member of our operational team working on a PFI contract we hold with the Farnham Local Care Centre and Bournemouth library, you'll manage senior level relationships with key stakeholders, to ensure we meet contractual requirements for a team that delivers a variety of Hard and Soft Facilities Management services to our client.

You will be the first point of contact for the client and on-site team, responsible for day to day operational performance of the contracts including statutory compliance, ensuring processes and procedures comply with SLAs and KPIs. As well as managing financial performance of the contracts, ensuring compliance with the budgets, P&Ls and lifecycle plans as well as undertaking audits.

If you have an in-depth knowledge of building services, relevant industry qualifications and excellent management skills - with experience within the Hard & Soft Services Facilities Management sector, this could be the role for you.


What do we need from you?

The successful candidate should have suitable experience in a similar contract management position within a Healthcare or PFI Environment, delivering hard and soft facilities services.

To really make the most of this role you will have experience with complying with PFI Contracts and have had responsibility for Statutory Compliance. You will also hold understanding and experience of Payment Mechanism, responsibility of Profit and Loss and preparation and presentation of monthly reports, and working knowledge of HTM's is preferable. A good understanding of Health and Safety is a must and an IOSH Managing Safely certificate is preferable.
