Kier Places are recruiting now for a Mobile Labourer / Improver to join our Housing Maintenance South team in supporting delivery of our Fire Safety Schemes across the Hounslow & Hammersmith and Fulham area.


Key Responsibilities

The main duties of this role revolve around taking delivery of Fire Doors from our suppliers, transporting & delivering them to sites we're working on, which can range from residential blocks with 2-5 floors, or large residential tower blocks. You'll then be required to take away the old doors & dispose of them as required.

A small part of the role will be requiring you to conduct some general painting & decorating work such as making good, filler, painting, and tidying up cleaning after your work.

It is expected that there would be around 10 Fire Door deliveries a day to conduct.


What do we need from you?

You will be expected to carry large weights of up to £75kg, between 2 people, to & from vehicles, buildings, and up numerous flights of stairs where required.

It would be highly advantageous if you have a background of painting & decorating, but not essential.

A Full UK driving licence would be needed for this role, and experience of van driving would be advantageous.
