Full time, Fixed Term Contract (18 Months )

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer service orientated Logistics Administrator to join our growing Transport & Logistics team on an 18-month fixed term contract, to provide maternity cover. Based at our Head Office within easy access of East Midlands Airport, this is a perfect opportunity for an experienced administrator looking for the next step in their career or someone looking for a new challenge to get stuck into! We are looking for a bright and friendly person who is keen to get stuck in and engage with a rapidly growing part of our business. You will have excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities, as well as good communication skills with the ability to build rapport with our colleagues and customers.

The key responsibilities are:

  • Work closely with our Transport Managers and the Logistics & Transport Supervisor to optimise services and team performance
  • Maintain documents and our data systems to a high standard
  • Handle calls and queries, giving prompt resolutions
  • Co-ordinate payment to hauliers, create/terminate and manage haulier accounts

You must have a good working knowledge of Excel and have administration experience, preferably with a background in construction or transport and logistics.
