The ideal Drainage Engineer will identify and apply appropriate methodologies and standards to produce effective and innovative solutions for Drainage schemes and studies to current standards.
They will get the opportunity to prepare design calculations, drawings and tender/contract documents and prepare land plans and schedules for access as required. Possess the ability to maintain good relations with the client. Work within wider team to enable effective delivery of schemes and studies.
What do we need from you to be successful in this role?
- Experience of highways maintenance and design
- Knowledge of drainage software including WinDES/Microdrainage
- AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Revit, Navisworks
- FEH
- Flow modelling experience
- KTF / Moss
- Computer literate with competent ability and knowledge of MS Office Suite
- BEng in Civil Engineering with appropriate experience for the role
IEng with appropriate Institution (ICE, CIWEM, CIHT) desirable
