Embedded within the Value Added Engineering (VAE) team, forming part of Professional Engineering Services (PES); you will provide: advocacy, strategic guidance, research and development support, technology advice and project assistance to clients who wish to implement innovative and state of the art (or legacy) Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and solutions. You will help deliver a culture of Performance Excellence within Kier aligned with the following:
- Project Execution - Plan and execute tasks
- People - Be energetic, generate knowledge and foster talent
- Processes - Follow processes and systems to create consistent performance
- Cash - Take action and set challenging targets to consistently forecast, measure and manage our cash well
- Full UK Driving licence and ability to travel / overnight stays when required
- Willingness to work outside of contracted hours if required
- Possess a relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering/science related subject or substantial experience in a related/closely related field
- Proven track record of delivery in ITS consultancy and design
- Understanding of Asset Management Principles
- Knowledge of ITS, HE Technology Assets, Infrastructure, loT, Telco., IP technologies and their applications against the services Kier Services | Highways supplies
- Ability to organise, plan, programme and manage workloads
- Knowledge of Project Management Methodology implementation
- Understanding of the relevant engineering, service or technical disciplines
