Key Responsibilities
In this exciting role you will assist with investigations, site visits, preparation of solutions and proposals, consultation, detailed design and detailing highway improvement and maintenance schemes for feasibility or construction. You will also be involved in ensuring a coordinated approach to the generation of annual schedules of highways infrastructure maintenance and improvement work, as well as preparing technical designs and drawings.
What are we looking for?
- BTEC/HNC, foundation degree, qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or significant relevant experience in the design of highway maintenance and improvement schemes.
- Associate /Graduate Member of a professional institution such as IHE, CIHT, ICE.
- Lantra 12d Traffic Management design qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience.
