This is a exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to supporting our long standing relationship with Sandwell Council and delivering of internal and external council housing improvements. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing internal and subcontractor delivery teams ensuring the delivery of multiple projects across the client portfolio while developing the pipeline of works to achieve our targets & required margin. The successful candidate will naturally partner with our client, have proven social housing fit-out knowledge backed up by technical qualifications and ideally have an eye on progression. The successful candidates will have; - Proven project management experience - Proven high-rise social housing experience - Industry recognised building trade qualification - Experience of managing total project value £8-10m - Adept at managing costs and sub-contractor performance - SMSTS & IOSH - Full - UK Driving License (no more than 6 points) You would be responsible for; - Managing regular interaction with our council client - Performing survey and scoping works when required - Supporting the Head of Projects in the implementation and delivery of projects & technical support services - Financial management of each project and full P&L responsibility regionally - Reviewing project schedules and budgets and questioning them when they fall off schedule or over budget - Setting up and maintaining the project risk and issues strategy and processes - Analysing all significant risks and making recommendations or initiating corrective action as appropriate - Liaising with client on change control, planning, opportunities, risks and documents - Maintaining the Project delivery roadmap - Participate in tender interviews and presentations Apply now and a member of our dedicated recruitment team will be in touch to discuss your application.
