Surfacing Supervisor Argyll & Bute/Southern Highlands: permanent, full-time Role overview

Breedon are currently seeking a Surfacing Supervisor in our GB Contracting division. You will predominantly be based in the West Region of Scotland (Argyll and Bute / Southern Highlands) but the role may involve working in other geographic locations within the business.

You will be responsible for the day to day planning, coordinating and supervision of surfacing squads to ensure contracts are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

It is essential that you possess SSSTS or SMSTS, CSCS card and a driving licence. Ideally you will have road surfacing and supervisory experience on highway works but construction industry experience will be considered. Additional construction industry training could be given to the right candidate.

You will display a pro-active attitude and understanding to Health & Safety, making suggestions to reduce or remove any identified risks; create and deliver the content of daily briefings, toolbox talks and any site-specific induction prior to commencing work on site. The ability to communicate effectively, work as part of a team and be polite and courteous to clients and the general public is essential.
