The ideal candidate will directly support the Materials & Waste Manager and the wider Sustainability Team. Maintain regular liaison with Highways contracts to obtain their construction waste data and supporting documentation (including waste transfer notes and environmental permits for the waste sites they use). Input or upload of the information above into the electronic reporting system under the correct sites / contracts. Ongoing review and maintenance of the system to ensure new construction sites, depots and contacts are added as they come on-line. Help to ensure that relevant compliance paperwork is complete and available. Work with Materials & Waste Advisor to help maintain relevant waste documentation (WTNs, permits, waste carrier licences etc.). Regular review of the waste providers listed for each contract to ensure all licences and permits remain in date to ensure ongoing legal compliance. Monthly audit of data to see if completed correctly or any errors are visible and identifying trends.
What do we need from you to be successful in this role?
- Data input experience
- Attention to detail for accurate data input
- Able to use Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Good communication skills
