Our Regional Civils team are currently recruiting for a Kickstarter - Construction Management Assistant on a Fixed Term Contract to work as part of the delivery team on flood defence projects as part of Kier's Collaborative Delivery Framework for the Environment Agency. The role is a construction site assistant with a range of responsibilities as required to support the delivery and management of the project.

Job Responsibilities

In this exciting Construction Management Assistant role, you'll support administration, assisting with goods received records and the on/off hiring of plant and equipment. You'll also be tasked with collating information and evidence for the Civil Engineering Environment & Quality assessment (CEEQUAL) & Considerate Constructors Schemes. The role will also be to provide site engineering/ setting out assistance to the Site Engineer and assist with quality control of works. The job holder will also gain a good understanding and take an active role in ensuring safety, health and environmental compliance on site.

What do we need from you?

A self-starter with basic computer processing skills. You'll be familiar in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel and be willing to undertake a wide range of tasks, both office and computer based as required to fulfil this role.

The application should have a driving licence and have their own transport to get to site.
