Key Responsibilties:

The Operations Manger is wholly responsible for the implementation of strategic objectives through to BAU and the delivery of contract safety, quality, commercial sustainability whilst delivering the following business critical activities. To manage revenue and margin in accordance with agreed budgets. Prepare a detailed delivery plan from the business plan and ensure skilled, competent resources are identified and secured to meet the plan. Plan contract teams, working methods, resources & systems to meet contract requirements & delivery timetable. Develop efficient & integrated teams to ensure OBA & business targets are consistently outperformed. Oversee the management of OBAs to minimise operational risk whilst ensuring effective management controls are in place. Work with all areas of the business and business partners to ensure full utilisation of resources whilst driving consistent performance in all processes, procedures and working practices.

What do we need from you?

Ensure the effective management of all teams so operations are carried out in a consistent & efficient manner resulting in excellent customer service, water quality & ensuring H&S standards are upheld. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, quality and environmental management standards. Ensure risk assessment and management methodologies are employed in all areas of operation and work with all teams to improve future processes. Promote, challenge and support innovation. Proven ability in delivering business objectives at a strategic level. Proven experience in developing best practice. Full understanding of current H&S Legislation, water law & water regulation environment & have an awareness of HSWA & CDM.
