Maintenance Engineer Cloud Hill, Derby: permanent, full-time Role overview

Breedon are currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our team based at Cloud Hill, Derby.

You will be responsible for developing a preventative maintenance system and carrying out planned maintenance activities to ensure that our quarry machinery operates safely and reliably.

You will also play a key 'hands on' role in the planning and implementation of plant improvements. You will need to have the ability to quickly fault find and respond to any unplanned plant shutdowns. Some of your work will involve working with production colleagues on the telephone to understand issues and to provide advice, so your ability to communicate effectively is vital.

Experience in an industrial maintenance role would be a distinct advantage, as would a positive record and attitude towards health and safety. It would also be an advantage if you have experience of fault finding, cutting, grinding, welding and fabrication in addition to general maintenance activities.
