Bond Coat Sprayer Operative Full time Grampian & Highlands, North Scotland

Breedon are currently seeking a Cat C HGV Bond Coat Sprayer Operative to work within our Contracting Team. You will predominantly be based in the Grampian and Highlands Region but the role may involve working in other geographic locations within the business. Dependant on the successful candidate, the base location will be at either:

  • Netherglen, Rothes, Elgin
  • Craigenlow Quarry, Dunecht, Aberdeen
  • Daviot Quarry, Inverness

The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • The loading, preparation and spraying of Bond Coat
  • Cleaning and minor maintenance tasks for the up-keep and operation of the sprayer and tanker unit
  • Planning of daily tasks for the cleaning, heating, circulation, filling and spraying to meet the contracting business needs
  • Completing all paperwork and administration tasks for the recording of spray rate application, inspections and other legal duties
  • Flexibility with start and finish times, weekend and nightshift working as required.
  • Work in accordance with all legal and company Health, Safety and Environmental obligations

The ideal candidate will have an element of mechanical knowledge and display a pro-active attitude towards Health & Safety and fully conversant with driver legal requirements. You should be able to work on your own initiative and be able to plan duties in line with the contracting programme requirements.

You will hold the following essential skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Cat C licence as a minimum (rigid)
  • Driver CPC
  • Digi Card
