We're currently recruiting for an Operations Manager - Rail to with significant recent experience of managing operations within the Rail sector. - a person who is willing and able to become an integral part of a successful delivery team. The Rail business operates Nationally and is looking to expand its capability and geographical presence as a tier 1 contractor working for Network Rail and other Rail clients.
Job Responsibilities
In this exciting Operations Manager role, you'll promote the Kier brand in building the Rail business and have leadership of area-based portfolio of projects. You'll have management of a multi-project delivery team and responsibility of updating contract programmes. You'll lead by example, ensuring the highest safety standards are implemented and maintained and liaise with the client to promote a collaborative approach.
What do we need from you?
A strong motivator with demonstrable experience of delivering to Rail clients and a good understanding of the Network Rail suite of contracts, NEC3 terms and conditions, RMM2, CESMM and Network Rail standards. Ideally, you'll hold an IOSH/NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate and have a working knowledge of planning software (Primavera P6 optimal) and Considerate Constructors scheme. Membership of a relevant professional body is desirable.
