In this role, you will contribute to the successful delivery of the programme of work by producing, developing and overseeing sound design solutions to meet client requirements within budget and timescale, following Kier processes and procedures as well as any client specific requirements. Duties will include developing and designing solutions in accordance to national design standards, procedures and requirements. Compliance wise, you will provide input with the quality management systems including site specific audits. Production or overseeing of scheme documents and reports.
Demonstrate stakeholder management skills by contributing to the regular reporting of progress to clients by communicating with line managers regarding their progress against the planned programme. From a wider team point of view, assist in the mentoring and development of staff to grow organically and the development of in-house structures capability.
What?are we looking for?
- Degree/HNC - Preferably chartered or incorporated Civil/Structural Engineer
- Extensive post graduate experience in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Knowledgeable in national design standards
- Ability to manage projects, workload and provide relevant documentation when required
- Comprehensive awareness around the management and mentoring of staff
