Key Responsibilities
The Pre-Construction BIM Coordinator ensures that projects are correctly managed to maximise the benefits of BIM & Digital tools. Reporting to the Pre-Construction BIM & Digital Manager, the Coordinator will work with Contract/Project Team to ensure compliance with industry standards, Kier policy and meeting client requirements. With a sound understanding of design authoring software as well as federation/clash software the Pre-Con BIM Coordinator will work closely with the design teams to ensure that design/digital information is completed in the right format and in accordance with best practice and the BEP. They will take responsibility for digital information produced and ensure a smooth handover and be part of a digital delivery team driving forward efficient projects.
What do we need from you?
A strong communicator and able to build positive working relationships, internally/externally across all levels of management. Confident in the use or thorough understanding of the key design and authoring software (3D Civils, Revit etc etc). Experience of implementing BS1192:2007 & PAS1192 suite of standards and knowledge/experience of ISO19650. Ability to coordinate and manage own workload and prioritise accordingly to supporting project delivery. A desire to drive efficiencies thorough continuous improvement. Proficient skills in standard Microsoft office suite
