About the role
As Material & Plant Administrator, you will primarily be working as part of a team of two to process orders for materials for site. Updating databases will be key as you ensure the stock database for items issued/ returns is updated, along with the consumable items, skip database and the Smartwaste database for disposal of construction waste. You will also be responsible for confirming receipt of goods and processing returns of goods and the processing of purchase card transaction.
In addition, you will be supporting in Payroll tasks for absences/ during peak workloads, which will include supporting our operational teams in the timesheet process, manually entering data and checking data, whilst importantly assisting with GDPR compliance. You will also be processing entries for enhanced hours, bonus payments, overtime payments and holiday pay and keeping records of Health & Safety stats, holiday booking, recording and filing of data.
What do we need from you?
Previous experience is not essential as we offer on the job training. We are looking for someone who has a 'can do' attitude and can multi-task in a demanding environment to provide a reactive service to the front-line delivery teams maintaining water supplies. Attention to detail is vital to ensure deliveries are right first time.
