Key Responsibilities
The Estimating Coordinator to join this team will provide management and maintenance of estimating resource libraries to ensure tender proposals are accurate and provide best value. You will maintain management of estimating Sharepoint site to ensure records are up to date and in line with company standards management of supply chain inbox and coordination of subcontractor enquiries.
You will facilitate lessons learnt meetings and maintain a record of these learnings, establish and manage cost benchmarking process within company to review cost on a macro and micro scale, leading on, you will also maintain the register of subcontractor prices for benchmarking purposes, you will be required to benchmark outputs, overheads and site prelims to establish a company baseline for core services. A fundamental part of the role will be to gather market intelligence on potential client and analyse data to inform and/or challenge solution development. It will be key for you to maintain the lessons learnt register and ensure items are actioned in future bids. You are expected to be a point of contact for sub-contractor enquiries and liaison
What do we need from you?
- Confident in estimating functions in administration of tenders
- Stakeholder management experience
- Strong administrative and analytical background
- Good attention to detail
- Comprehensively able to rate benchmarking across existing contracts to ensure best value is achieved in tenders
