Commercial Surveyor Job in Truro
Our leading UK property consultancy client now requires a Commercial Surveyor to join their team in Truro, offering competitive benefits, car allowance and bonus alongside flexible working hours. To be considered you need to be chartered and have valuation and development experience within the commercial sector.
The consultancy offers a multitude of services to their varied client base across commercial, residential, and industrial sectors, offering advice on new planning, development and investment opportunities to developers, institutional investors, government agencies and planning authorities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Undertake Red Book valuation reports
- Report to Clients
- Provide sound and profitable market advice
- Undertake viewings at various commercial properties
- Attend on site to allow access to contractors
- Measure and photograph premises
- Prepare pre-acquisition reports for freehold and leasehold properties
- Prepare market campaign reports, to include liaison with PR and Marketing agencies as required
- Collate demographic data and comparable evidence associated with property acquisition work
- Prepare site appraisals and associated matters
- Contribute to business success, providing a professional and high quality of service to clients
- New Business generation
- Maintain and grow existing client relationships, both internal and external
- Work with other internal departments to enhance revenue streams
Required Skills & Experience
- MRICS
- Experienced in commercial valuations and development
- Excellent Client Care and Service Delivery
- Strong report writing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- A highly motivated commercial approach, astute and market aware
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Experience with investment and development valuation packages (preferably Argus)
- UK Driving Licence and own vehicle
What you get back
- Salary negotiable dependent on experience, guide of £30,000 - £35,000
