Senior Pre-Contracts Manager Job in New Forest, Hampshire
I'm currently looking to speak to Senior Pre-Contracts Managers with experience in Commercial Fit Out's or refurbishments to join a design and build company in the New Forest.
This design and build company operate across the South East of England including London with Commercial Fit outs and refurbishment projects ranging from £500k - £4m. As the successful candidate you'll have experience in tendering and pitching for new business along with other members of the team as well as the day-to-day duties in the estimating department.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyse cost plans
- Make sure sub-contractors are vetted appropriately
- Negotiate with sub-contractors
- Work closely with the team on tenders and bids
- Make sure client invoices are raised on time and in line with the agreed cashflow
- Liaises with finance teams
- Identify technical and commercial risks during the contract period
- Identify building control issues
Required Skills & Experience
- Ideally 5+ years' experience in commercial fit out
- Commercially aware
- Strong construction knowledge
- Good knowledge of JCT contracts
- Knowledge of building regulations
- Driving licence
