We are currently working with a well-established architectural practice based in Winchester that is seeking a Conservation Focused Architect to join them. Projects would include churches, cathedrals, and some of the most well-known landmarks in the UK.

The practice has been established over 80 years and has an eclectic portfolio of projects including contemporary residential, conservation and specialist one-off projects.

Due to the current workload, they have the need for a Conservation Architect to work directly under the Conservation Director.

Role & Responsibilities

-Working on projects across all RIBA stages from concept to completion. - Projects would include residential, landmark and ecclesiastical projects - Speaking directly with clients - Production of drawing packages - Dealing with onsite issues as required.

Required Skills & Experience

  • RIBA Part III qualified (or equivalent) & ARB registered
  • AABC or RIBA Conservation Accreditation are an advantage
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience post qualification working on UK conservation and historic building projects
  • Demonstrate a good eye for historic design, with a thorough understanding of contractual procedures
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
