Key responsibilities

We are looking to recruit a Senior Design Manager in our Eastern region. The main purpose of the role is to co-ordinate and integrate the activities of our external design consultants. You will also be assisting on pre-construction activities and tender opportunities, and will be asked to control and interrogate the activities of external design consultants including scope of services, responsibilities & fees. We will look to you to drive innovative and cost-effective solutions into the design, progress design issues within strict timescales, and attend tender launch/adjudication meetings as required.


What do we need from you?

To be successful in this role, we're looking for those with a solid experience in a design role with a main contractor; healthcare project experience; have an understanding of different Client procurement routes; experience of site/contract procedures; and have an understanding of Building Regulations and Planning Permission procedures.
