Kier Places are recruiting now for an experienced Project Manager to join our passionate Capital Projects Team. Kier Places are recruiting for a Project Manager to assist in delivering external remedial cladding, fire safety and refurbishment works to residential and commercial buildings. Your time will be spent across one of our primary office location in Loughton or Basingstoke, with a requirement to spend time working on the site, along with the flexibility of working from home.

Key Responsibilities

Working under the supervision of the Preconstruction Manager the Project Manager will initially manage the preconstruction works of remedial works contracts assigned to Kier Places and then subsequently manage the on-site works under the supervision of the Operations Manager. The Project Manager will initially work alongside the wider team - including the design manager, planner , estimator and external consultants. Once the project goes live the Project Manager will manage a team of site managers, the resident liaison function, link closely with the commercial team and manage the supply chain.

Projects currently sit in Hackney and Reading. You will manage the delivery of projects to a high standard by budgeting and programming, meet company objectives post-contract and ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, to budget and to the quality required by the client.

What do we need from you?

For the ideal candidate, we will be looking for a good track record of running similar projects with a value of up to approx. £5m. If you are a respectable team leader with organisational skills and the ability to maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, then we want you!
