A great opportunity for an experienced IQVT Inspector to join Kier Highways team where you will provide assurance to the Senior Management Team that the works are being delivered in accordance with the Works Information and the Designer's intent.
Key Responsibilities
Support the project team to deliver right first-time activities. Undertake specific inspections and raise quality observation reports as you inspect the works using BIMXtra on a portable electronic device. Ensure works are supported by an accepted Inspection & Test plan (ITP), and to make sure the site teams are using the ITPs as required. Assisting in training/benchmarking as part of the continual improvement approach.
What do we need from you?
You will be conversant with the Design Manual for Roads & Bridges, most particularly the testing required in the SHW. Understand construction drawings and technical construction terminology. Have good knowledge of construction practices and techniques especially in a Highways environment. Experience in using Inspection & Test Plans. Be able to converse with all project personnel and engage positively with them.
