Quadrise is the global leader in emulsion fuels. We are currently seeking to recruit a recent chemical engineering graduate to join our growing team. In this role you will be supported by an experienced team and you will benefit from developing skills in a broad range of areas. You will also enjoy a significant amount of autonomy. The role will involve:
- Developing an understanding of Quadrise's technology and emulsion fuel applications, with a focus on bioMSARâ„¢, our new biofuel.
- Supporting our ongoing projects in Europe and the Americas. The primary focus will be on engineering activities; for example project engineering and basic engineering (e.g. PFDs/P&IDs, H&MB, equipment sizing) and unit monitoring.
- Business development activities, such as market analysis.
- Product development; Lab / pilot plant work at QRF, our research & operational support facility.
What we are looking for - Key qualifications, skills and experience required:
- To have as a minimum a 2:1 (or equivalent) degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or similar.
- 1-2 years of industrial experience in sector.
- Biofuel experience (research, production, life cycle analysis) is desirable, whether as part of your degree or in industry.
- Numerate, methodical and analytical approach to problem solving with attention to detail and the desire to take ownership and see tasks through to completion.
- The ability to work in a team and create strong working relationships across various disciplines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literate; Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Experience with Visio is desirable.
- Have the right to work in the UK on a full-time basis.
The role is based on approximately 3 days in our London Waterloo office and 2 days working from home. However, candidates must be open to changes to this policy and travel within the UK and abroad.
