In order to meet growing demand, a regional Field Based Service Engineer with broad M&E engineering experience and knowledge of loading bay equipment, industrial roller doors, sectional overhead doors and high-speed doors is required to join a leading, well established family run company with a proud tradition for honesty, reliability, accountability and teamwork.
The role will be field based throughout the South-West covering Avon, South Wales, Somerset and occasionally Cornwall. The applicant will need a good working knowledge of industry products, be tidy, methodical, and prompt in the delivery of onsite customer focussed solutions.

Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a field-based servicing or installation engineering role.
- Good, broad M&E engineering knowledge.
- Previous experience of installation, repair & fault-finding of loading bays, speed doors, sectional doors & hinged/sliding doors is essential.
- Knowledge of controls and programming with good diagnostic skills.
- The ability to plan work including scheduled and responsive tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Planned maintenance visits
- Reactive maintenance and repair,
- Site visits to measure up for the installation of company products,
- Site pre-install visits, fault finding and customer service tasks.
- Occasional requirement to work as part of a team on installations.
In addition to a competitive hourly rate, the successful candidate will be provided with an outstanding package including van & tools, a tablet, product and safety training, 22 days holiday per annum up to a max of 25 days, plus 8 national bank holidays, company branded polo shirts, sweater, Hi-viz jackets & coats, two pairs of work trousers and a pair of safety boots each year.
