We are currently looking for a Site Manager to join multiple projects across Exeter on durations varying from 1 week to longer term projects. The working hours will be 07:30am-5pm Monday to Friday with the potential for overtime and weekend work.

Daily Responsibilities of Site Manager Include:

• Work closely with the Contracts Manager and Surveyor implementing any agreed actions and acting accordingly

• Ensuring that the project requirements, specifications, design drawings, health and safety proposals are all read, understood and agreed and that a project programme is in place

• Prepare, implement and monitor company policies, detailed programmes, management plans, environmental and site specific procedures to ensure that these are adhered to

• Prepare information required to schedule in collaboration with the Design manager ensure that timescales are met

• Assist the Contacts manager in leading internal teams

• Work closely with the site commercial and design personal ensuring the necessary records are maintained and available as required

• Promote and maintain good working relations with visiting consultants, stakeholders, neighbours and other third parties

• Maintain the highest standard of site presentation at all times

• Supervise various trades/labour staff

• Monitor the performance and effectiveness of direct reports

• Identify any potential site issues and escalate appropriately, resolve disputes should they arise

• Prepare, implement and monitor Target Zero Defects procedures

• SMSTS+
• Gold or Black CSCS card
• First aid at work
• Asbestos Awareness
• A valid UK driving licence
