We are seeking Operations Management Trainees across our business. Our Trainee opportunities will be based in our Quarries and Plants and follow a 3-year development programme underpinned by the industry's Level 5 Mineral Products Technician Apprenticeship, facilitated by the University of Derby. By the end of the apprenticeship, trainees will have the skills and knowledge to secure a supervisory position, such as an Assistant Manager role in the business. The apprenticeship also provides our trainees with a Foundation Degree in Mineral Products Technology, and a Level 4 Safety, Health and Environment qualification.

About you

We'd love to hear about why you chose us and what interests you about the apprenticeship programme. We're a very friendly organisation so we'd hope that you'd be comfortable talking to lots of people and can show us that you're willing to learn! Sometimes we come across unforeseen challenges so problem solving skills and good attention to detail are also very handy skills to have. Finally, you must have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (or level 5 or above on the new grading scheme) including Maths, English and Science and be working at AS/Level 3 or equivalent.

You will be able to take time off to attend college and receive a nationally recognised qualification at the end of your apprenticeship.
