About the role
We are looking for a Project Engineer to join the team, to deliver multiple projects within budget and timescales, whilst complying with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental systems and processes. You will be responsible for project engineering from inception to completion of schemes utilising in-house functions and resources, whilst liaising with clients to ensure KPI's are met.
What do we need from you?
To be successful, you will hold experience within the power industry, have excellent organisation skills and a good understanding and knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM duties. You will need to be technically capable and responsible for undertaking site engineering activities in a safe manner. You will be undertaking the setting out for multiple sites for cable routes, easements, structures etc. this will include site topographical surveying and recording of as-built infrastructure using GPS and working with CAD teams to produce accurate and timely record drawings.
You will be examining, reviewing and evaluating the project works as required by the specification and drawings.
We will need you to be experience in completing the following tasks.
- Coordinating all project engineering activities in line with the project programme and resource plan.
- Collaborating with project staff to enable the successful planning and sequencing of work and monitoring/reporting progress.
- Produce and agree inspection, test and commissioning plans.
- Compile Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Monitor and ensure that all defects upon the project works occurring during the contractual defects liability period are remedied.
